Remodel or Tear Down the house? The owners loved their site on Lake Sammamish but not their house design. Their decision to tear down the existing house and start over allowed the new design to capitalize on views of Lake Sammamish and incorporate design elements from their two other favorite places: Montana and Nantucket. The large covered deck allows the connection to the lake and the outdoors to be utilized despite the changes in seasons.
